They are Most Qualified
Those who do not honor Vaiṣṇavas — or even those who are not actually devotees but who want to be devotees, like oil makers and betel nut makers — they are all śūdras, they have no right to read Vedas, Upaniṣad, or vedānta; but Lord Nityānanda Prabhu said, “They are most qualified to chant the holy name and to have kṛṣṇa-prema.” To whomever He saw He gave initiation with the mahāmantra:
Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare
To very fallen and inauspicious persons, Nityānanda Prabhu embraced them and inspired them all to chant.
We should know that we are all in Mahāprabhu’s family. Those who have not been initiated, but they are chanting the holy name — they should be taken as in the family of Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
Don’t disrespect any Vaiṣṇava. This is the essence of Lord Nityānanda’s teachings. Always try to honor Vaiṣṇavas according to their respective stages. Otherwise, only showing like a bottle and speaking to others will not do. We should try to follow outwardly and inwardly Nityānanda Prabhu.
