Srila Gurudeva: Once, there was a brahmana in South India. Caitanya Mahaprabhu was on a tour of South India and went to Sri Rangam. This brahmana had not attended any class, no school, nothing. He did not even know the alphabet, ABCD of Sanskrit, Hindi, or anything. But, he used to go daily to the temple of Ranganatha, and at that place, he used to sit and read Gita. He could not utter the pure words of Sanskrit, not anusvara and no visarga. No anusvar or visarga, grammar, nothing. He only used to carry the Srimad Bhagavad-Gita and read, anyhow, something. He always used to weep and weep, tears streaming from his eyes. For one hour he used to read Gita like this.
