Who lifted Girirāja Govardhana: Kṛṣṇa or His śakti? Externally, it seems that Kṛṣṇa lifted Girirāja, but Kṛṣṇa did not lift him. He lifted Girirāja by the little finger of His left hand. His śakti is on the left side. Therefore, Śrīmatī Rādhikā is the most worshipable deity of millions of Ramā-devīs, Umā, and Indrāṇī-devī. The possessor of potency cannot exist without His potency. Hence, śakti must also be there. When the śakti of Kṛṣṇa is in an un-manifested state, then She will remain in the heart of Kṛṣṇa. But when the śakti of Kṛṣṇa assumes a form, then what is this form called? This śakti is called Rādhājī.
