We have come here to Mānasī-gaṅgā, which is like the mouth of Girirāja Govardhana, to get the mercy of Girirāja Govardhana. We do our pūjā and offer mahā-prasādam here, and He will eat it.
But who is Girirāja Govardhana? I will tell you briefly who He is and how He came to Vṛndāvana. I want to share with you a secret about Girirāja Govardhana. Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa and the gopīs are performing confidential sweet pastimes in the caverns of Govardhana. Although you cannot see them, there are beautiful caves and kuñjās (groves) everywhere in Govardhana. Girirāja is seeing all of the sweet pastimes of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa and the gopīs. Only as a female is Girirāja Govardhana qualified to assist and witness the super-excellent pastimes of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa yugala.
