Srila Gurudeva: Caitanya Mahaprabhu came to teach raganuga-bhakti, raga-marga. He came to preach raganuga-marga, not only vaidhi-marga. Although our Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Thakura, our Guru-varga, and Bhaktivinoda Thakura preached vaidhi-bhakti, still their preaching was not vaidhi-bhakti. It is seen like vaidhi-bhakti, but anyone following that vaidhi-bhakti of Jaiva-dharma, of Caitanya-caritamrta, and hearing the words of Rupa Gosvami, Raghunatha dasa Gosvami, and Sanatana Gosvami, if anyone is hearing these things very patiently and deeply, that vaidhi-bhakti will turn into raganuga-bhakti.
Certainly a greed will come to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal. If that greed is not coming, then their life is bogus. They should go to the Ramanuja, Sri sampradaya or any other sampradaya. This is the speciality of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, that He has not come to give only vaidhi-bhakti. He came to give and sow a seed in the heart of devotees. What seed? Krsna-seva-vasana, the desire to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal. This was the main aim and object of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Rupa Gosvami, and others. We have not come to make any problem for any devotee. We have not come to collect money. We have not come here to make disciples or take anyones disciple. We have come here only for needy people, to help them in Krsna consciousness without any desire for self-gain. We want to help all, like Nityananda Prabhu and Haridasa Thakura. Even if we are beaten and abused, no harm, because we have not come for anything. Gour Govinda Maharaja came here to preach the mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. So simply we have come to preach and to touch the hearts of devotees and help if they need help. I know that they need help. Surely they need help, because after Svamiji and after Gour Govinda Maharaja left, the paddy field began to dry up.
Although so much rainfall is coming, it is not touching the field. What water can touch this field? Only that water that will come from the pure devotees of Caitanya Mahaprabhu who have no desire for any self-gain. They have only come to give that thing which Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Rupa Gosvami came to give. So, they need water. What is that water? That water is hari-katha. So we want to give some hari-katha to the devotees. They should again be inspired so that their creeper of bhakti will grow. Then I think that very soon so many sweet fruits will be there and they should taste that fruit. Our purpose of coming here is only this. I know that everybody wants to be happy in life, but the process they adopt to try to be happy, that process cannot give them eternal bliss and happiness. Only the process that Caitanya Mahaprabhu has shown and explained, to chant and remember the holy name of Krsna, only this can give eternal happiness. Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and if you chant His name, which is more powerful and merciful than Krsna Himself, then Krsna will inspire everything in that devotee. This process does not depend on money, caste, wealth, reputation, fair complexion, dark complexion, so much intelligence, nothing. We should adopt these things and simply chant Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
