The mercy of Bhagavan is of two kinds: the mercy of Bhagavan Himself and the mercy of His devotees. The prema given by devotees is greater than the prema given by Bhagavan Himself. Why? The bhaktas are greater than Bhagavan. For instance: Srimati Radhika serves Krsna. She will give a portion of Her service tendency to the qualified associate. If any raganuga or rasika Vaisnava who is absorbed in gopi-bhava gives his mercy, then his mercy is more powerful than the mercy of Bhagavan. If a sincere practitioner approaches Krsna for love, He will send him to His devotees. Krsna will say, “Oh Rupa Manjari, please bestow your mercy on this devotee.” What will Rupa Manjari do? She will give all her moods of service to that devotee.
