Śrīmatī Rādhikā said to the bumblebee, “Kṛṣṇa is black like you. How can we trust you? You run from one flower to another taking its honey and you never look back at the flower you have taken honey from. You leave the flower forever, never to remember it again. Your Prabhu is like this and you have learnt this art from Him. He loved one gopī and then another and then left us all to go to Mathurā. What will He do there? He will do the same. We have no relationship with persons like this. We became beggars for His love, yet He speaks the same old tricks. We have nothing to give you, for we are forest dwellers. We are beggars and we don’t have a single farthing with us. We don’t have anything to give you. Go to Mathurā. What do we have? We only beg for His love. We have become street beggars. We have nothing. So, go and please the princesses of Mathurā.”
