Kṛṣṇa told Uddhava, “Tell the gopīs, ‘Kṛṣṇa has sent me; I have not come according to my own wish. Kṛṣṇa has sent a message.’ When the gopīs hear these words, they will be very happy. They will think, ‘Kṛṣṇa has sent a message for us?’ Then the message must be told to pacify them. You should tell them what I am going to say. When you read My message, the message will say, ‘I, Kṛṣṇa, am coming very soon. I will complete My job here within two or three days. I will kill all the demons and I will manage everything. I will pacify Vāsudeva, Devakī, and all the Yādavas and then I will come very soon. Just as all of you are suffering in separation from Me, I am also suffering greatly in separation from you all. I am very sad. So, I want to meet you all at once.’ Oh Uddhava, you should further say, ‘Kṛṣṇa will come very soon.’ ”
