We should try to be like Narottama Thakura if we want krsna-prema. Especially conjugal love, from where can we have this thing? If we have so many worldly desires, so many desires here, there, full up to here, here also, then we cannot have these things, this nectar. So Narottama Thakura is telling, is weeping bitterly that,
gauranga bolite habe pulaka sarira
hari hari bolite nayane babe nira

[When will that time come that my body will shiver in joy upon singing the name “Gauranga?” When will tears flow from my eyes as I chant “Hari Hari?”]
“When will I spontaneously, in a natural way, utter ‘Gauranga, O Sacinandana Gaurahari, Gaurahari, Gaurahari,’ and I will weep bitterly?” Why is he weeping? To have a mood of conjugal love for Radha-Krsna. If we have that object, this goal of life...we must have any goal of our life. What is our aim and object of life? If we have no object, then there is no practice. We should fix our goal of life, our aim and object. Then how we can achieve that goal, this will come secondly. First we should know what is our goal of life. How can you know? How can you know? Only by association can you know. Krsna’s mercy is everywhere and especially Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He is Himself Krsna. He is none other than Krsna, but He is now having the mood, the intrinsic mood of Radhika. Also He is having the color of, the golden beauty of Radhika. He has come in the form of Sacinandana Gaurahari, so now He has the combined mercy of Himself Krsna and also of Radhika. Srimati Radhika is more merciful, more merciful, and She is powerful. Krsna cannot do anything without the help of Radhika, without power. So Radhika is His power.
When He lifted Govardhana, who really lifted it? Srimati Radhika, not Krsna. Krsna only had some desire to lift it. He had no power to do this. What He sees, what He desires, what He does, everything is done by Srimati Radhika. Without Radhika, He cannot taste any hladini-sakti or any ananda. So now He has come with combined mercy, so He is now so much merciful. He has only come to distribute His mercy. What mercy? That mercy that even Brahma, Sankara, and all the demigods do not even have. Even this mercy is not showering in Vaikuntha. Not in Ayodhya, not even in Dvaraka and Mathura, nowhere. Also, this shower is not there even in Vrndavana. Understand what I am trying to say? Krsna is their object of that love and that prema, but He is not giving this to anyone. Only in the form of Caitanya Mahaprabhu is He distributing this prema to all. How is He distributing this? “Oh, you have no pot? Oh, come on, come on, come on. I will give you a pot and then fill it with love and affection for Krsna.” Krsna can give His mercy, but only if you have a pot. Only if you are qualified.
