If You Think Of Yourself As The Master...

...If you think of yourself as the master who is supporting and nourishing your children, then you cannot renounce—you cannot. But by thinking of them as the servants of Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, you can…

I offered my children to the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa and said to Him, “You should manage everything.” Whatever love and affection I had for my family, from my householder āśrama, my parents, my wife, my children, I collected and offered that love and affection at the lotus feet of my Gurudeva—all my love, affection, energy—everything. Then Gurudeva gave it to his holy master and thus it reached the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa and Caitanya Mahāprabhu. If you think of yourself as the master who is supporting and nourishing your children, then you cannot renounce—you cannot. But by thinking of them as the servants of Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, you can serve and nourish them in that relationship.
