Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Svāmī Mahārāja did not come only to preach Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, here and there. His primary goal was to preach the mission of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, that Rūpa Gosvāmī fulfilled. He wanted to express all these things, but there was no time to do so fully. I also want to express this. As I have explained to you in so many places: his main mission was to preach rādhā-dāsya, as taught by Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī. He wanted to fully explain the madanākhya-bhāva of Śrīmatī Rādhikā, but Kṛṣṇa called him and said, “You have preached the glories of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra everywhere, and you have established that Kṛṣṇa is not an ordinary cowherd boy—He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” He established this everywhere, and so many Westerners accepted his words.
