Don’t Worship Other Demigods and Goddesses

Jagadānanda Paṇdita explained that we have forgotten Kṛṣṇa since time immemorial. Therefore, chasing after us, Kṛṣṇa came as Caitanya Mahāprabhu to give what no other ācārya or incarnation gave before: unnatojjvala-rasa. By the mercy of the dhāma and Mahāprabhu, we can remember this and worship Gaurāṅga with niṣṭhā. We came here to Navadvīpa, from all parts of the world for this. We came for what Caitanya Mahāprabhu has come to give: unnatojjvala-rasa. So, begin from the beginning: ādau śraddhā tataḥ sādhu-saṅgaḥ.

Don’t worship other demigods and goddesses. For the Westerners there is no question of this. But in India, even in Mahāprabhu’s dhāma and in Vṛndāvana, all smārta-brāhmaṇas worship Kali with 20 hands. They eat fish and onions and they don’t worship Mahāprabhu. In the West there is no need for devīs and devas. They have nothing to do with them. But here it is a very big problem. All demigods are servants of Gaurāṅga.

  • The Uncompromising Enemy

A chanter of the kirtana of Hari is necessarily the uncompromising enemy of worldliness and hypocrisy. As a chanter of the kirtana of Hari, it is his constant function to dispel all misconceptions by the preaching of the truth in a most unambiguous form, without any influence of person, place, or time. That form has to be adopted which is least likely to be misunderstood. It is his bounden duty to oppose any person who tries to deceive…

  • When Everything is Polluted

Water is polluted, air is polluted, ether is polluted. Everything is dying by pollution. A day will come when the whole ocean will be polluted with poisons, and if anyone will eat fish or any food from the sea, he will die. In the name of saving the agriculture, people are spraying poisons everywhere to kill insects, but that poison comes in the grains and thus all are polluted. You will eat those grains, you will become mad; so many diseases will come, and you will all die…

  • Sevaka, a True Servant

…if one directly refuses to obey the order, he is not a sevaka, but a baka, crane. We should try to be sevakas in the real sense like Sri Govinda dasa, Srila Jiva Gosvami, Sri Syamananda prabhu, Srila Narottama dasa Thakura, and Srinivasa acarya. We should become a sevaka like Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada, who was the sevaka of Srila Gaurakisora dasa Babaji Maharaja. We should be a disciple like my Guru Maharaja. He took his life and soul in his hands to fulfill the desires of his Guru Maharaja…

  • Mercy to the Conditioned Souls

They may tell you, “Oh you are Lalita, I am Lalita,” but this is like mayavada and monism. Don’t go there. Don’t try to enter into these things artificially. Don’t imitate. Come in the process of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. That process is elaborately explained by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Thakura. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura said that in the near future, hundreds and thousands of western devotees will come with sikha and tulsi mala, and they will meet with Indian devotees, and they will chant, “Haribol, Haribol, Gaura Premanande.”
