The gopīs told Kṛṣṇa, “We have left our homes, husbands, family, and everything. Now we have come to you. But You tell us to return home. But we see that You are acting opposite to dharma. You are committing an offense to the lotus feet of dharma. Why? The cause of us leaving our homes and husbands and coming to here is You. Why is Your form so beautiful? Why did You play on Your flute? The sound that came from the flute was so beautiful that it took our hearts away. Hence, we were bound to come here. Not only us, anyone who sees You and listens to You playing the flute will be bound to act this way.” Kṛṣṇa’s beauty makes all the three worlds auspicious. There is no one whose beauty exceeds that of Kṛṣṇa’s. Rāma is so beautiful; Nārāyaṇa is so beautiful; Dvārkādhīśa is so beautiful—but They are not as beautiful as Kṛṣṇa. How beautiful is Kṛṣṇa!
