A Question May Arise

[Srila Narayana Maharaja:] Weeping and lamenting is service.

[Question:] How?

[Srila Narayana Maharaja:] How? When you reach this position you will know.

[Question:] Why didn’t Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu ask all these questions to Srila Rupa Gosvami?

[Srila Narayana Maharaja:] Raya Ramananda is Visakha; she is superior to Rupa Manjari. She is the guru of Rupa Manjari.

[All my associate sakhis are my supreme well-wishers, they are my best friends, and they are the teachers of my lessons in conjugal love. Simply by following them, I will serve the lotus feet of Radha, which are just like desire-fulfilling trees. (Gita-mala, verse 3)]

[Question:] Still, she doesn’t fully know Radhika’s mood.

[Srila Narayana Maharaja:] You should do bhajana. How can I give all my moods to you? This would be quite absurd.

Krsna once said; “I am a great masseuse. I can relieve all kinds of distress and pain and anxiety through my massaging. When I massage the feet, then within the body all kinds of strength and youthfulness enter.“  Krsna had taken the form of a masseuse and became, “Syama sakhi”...

ARE MILK AND DAIRY PRODUCTS GOOD FOR YOU? – What is the Vedic version?

People come to Vraja and see so many nice cows and say, “Don't drink milk, this is the cows blood. If you drink milk it is like being a meat eater.” In this way demons come to Vraja and say, “Don't drink milk. Don't take buttermilk. Don't take ghee. Don't take paneer.” Why do they say like this? Do you really have to serve the cows?  If you don't take milk then who will maintain and serve the cows? Then they will become like any ordinary animal that is neglected...

Verse 22: Mādhurya-rasa

The rasa described in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and in the literature of the Gosvāmīs is completely pure, non-materialistic (aprākṛta) and transcendental (cinmaya). It is entirely beyond the reach of the mental speculative powers of the baddha-jīvas and is difficult to attain. The baddha-jīva is compelled either to think about gross matter or to conceive of the non-material as being devoid of all attributes (nirviśeṣa-bhāva)...

Mantra-śakti will control your mind and bring you to harināma, hari-bhakti and the dhāma. If you seriously chant the mantra given to you by Śrī Guru, then you will get strong relationship with the mahā-bhāgavatas, Guru-varga, Ṣaḍ-Gosvāmī, Dvadaśa-Gopāla, Cauṣatti-Mahānta, Aṣṭa-kavirāja, and all the ācāryas. How can it be understood that this is happening? A very sweet desire and greed for hearing hari-kathā and reading the books of the Guru-varga will increase in your heart. This greed will come first. After, you will become more enthusiastic to chant harināma. Then you will develop attachment to hari-dhāma and hari-jana and never want to leave them.
