Acaryas Quotes Gurudeva said today You Should Know Who Are You

You Should Know Who Are You

You should know who are you. This physical body is not me. Our soul is part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You must believe that you are not this physical body or mind even.

What is the object or goal of our life? Our goal is happiness. And what is happiness? By constitution of the soul we are full of bliss, but we forgot and thus we were driven from that land. By constitution we are eternal and transcendental.

How can we be happy? By constitutional position we are always happy, but we are covered with māyā because we have forgotten Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā and Mahāprabhu and Nityānanda. If you can remember Him you can be happy, otherwise there is no other process in the whole universe. A transcendental person coming from Vṛndāvana will come and inspire you. We are all as if sleeping and he will wake you up.

Katyayani Vrata – What is Your Desire?

After cāturmāsya, dāmodara-vrata, ūrjā-vrata, what desire comes in your heart? What is your desire? To go in family, to jump in ocean, to go for karma, yoga, or bhoga? Where will you go? For example, complete year you learn and go to school, and follow all classes and subjects. Then you give exam and will understand if you get 50%, 60%, 70, 80, 90, 100% or you failed, getting zero percent...

If You Do Not Give Him Up

There is no need to think, "He is my guru. If I give him up, that will be a big offense." Rather, if you do not give him up, that will be a big offense. Give him up at once. Srimad-Bhagavatam and Krsna (sastra) tell us, "Give up this person, otherwise you are committing an offense." Don't believe his cheating words, saying "If you give me up, that is an offense."

Śālagrāma and the Universal Egg (Kesava vrat – Part 3)

...Through the head one can meditate on the Lord and serve Him internally. So Śālagrāma and the head are connected in this way. The Lord appeared as a śīla, or special kind of stone. Don’t think He is not present there. His whole svarūpa is hidden there. The whole brahmāṇḍa, universe, is present within Śālagrāma...

Wicked Nature – Bhagavad-Gita

What is his intention? He wanted to make Droṇācārya enthusiastic to fight, because if he won, then all the Pāṇḍavas wealth, property and women would be his own to enjoy. Therefore he went to his Guru and began to entice him into battle. He did not call him Guru, or brāhmaṇa-deva. He called out to him, “Hey Ācārya,” like one taunts an ordinary man. The nature and consciousness of sense enjoyers is always impure. Such a wicked person can never give proper respect to another because there is a fire burning within him. Kṛṣṇa thus shows the difference between the nature of prema; love, and the nature of gross sense enjoyers. Kṛṣṇa showed the distinction between the path of love and the path of lust. Although Sanjaya described this in an indirect way to Dhṛtarāṣṭra since he was materially and spiritually blind from birth, such words paid no heed to his ears...

DVITĪYA-YĀMA-SĀDHANA. Prātaḥ-kālīya-bhajana. Anartha-nivṛtti in Sādhu-saṅga. Verses 6-10

...The essential teaching of this incident is that when the mind of the living entity becomes pure through the practice of bhakti, then by the combined mercy of the saṁvit- and hlādinī-śaktis, he can experience Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency (Yogamāyā) and his own constitutional nature (svarūpa). The object of bhajana will manifest in the heart naturally through bhakti-yoga...
