Never Will He Come!

If you have any other desires such as wealth, reputation, position, heaven, or liberation, Kṛṣṇa cannot come. Never will He come! So, you should give up all these things. All kinds of desires. No lust. No anger. Māyā comes in so many shapes and we will think that we are doing right. So, you all—what you are doing—you are satisfied and you are thinking that you are very well, “No one can do like me. I am very intelligent.” Māyā gives this and that is why sometimes we cannot advance, because we are satisfied with what and where we are.

We all souls which are in this world; we have come from Him. We are transcendental. We are all eternal servants of the Supreme Personality of Godhead but we have forgotten Him from the beginning, and that is why we are in the cyclic order of endless birth, death, suffering, sorrows, and so many problems. When this very merciful Kṛṣṇa looks towards us, He becomes merciful.

This world is called saṁsāra. This world is gradually going towards destruction. And the world of Vraja is always going toward transcendental peace and happiness.

Dāsya-prema – the love of a servant for Kṛṣṇa

Another speciality of the dāsya-bhaktas of Vraja is that again, unlike the dāsya devotees of other places, there are no feelings of pure respect and reverence. Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura reveals that devotees of dāsya-bhāva in the mood of awe and reverence have a concept that offenses can be committed in their service; therefore for them, there is no deluge of prema. In dāsya-prema, service is not fully developed...

The Opulence of Vraja – Gita Govinda

If Laksmi-devi were allowed in Vrndavana she would divide everyone with her opulence. We can see that this is her business wherever she goes. The members of a village family, living together simply in a thatched hut, have a harmonious coexistence. But in the cities people do not even want to speak to their neighbors, let alone become friendly with them, even though they are living just one apartment door away...

The Dawn of Love – 08 Feb 2013 – Govinda-lilamrta

What is the feeling of Kavirāja Gosvāmī here? “I am unqualified, I have no skill or intelligence, but the nectarful ocean of Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes has overcome me. I don’t know which pastime comes first, second, third, or last. I don’t know the proper sequence of Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes. Mahā-bhāgavata Vaiṣṇavas know this, but I don’t. I cannot swim across this ocean. I am only sitting near the shore, feeling a breeze of air wafting from the sea of rasa, causing my bliss to ever swell. If one is touched by even a single particle of the air coming off that sea of rasa, the soul becomes enlivened with devotion and love. There are many pure Vaiṣṇavas in Vraja who are very qualified and learned. Rūpa Gosvāmī Prabhu composed many books in perfect poetry. If anyone reads the books of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī Prabhu and compares them to this Govinda līlāmṛta, they will certainly say, ‘Oh, this book is nothing in comparison to Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī’s literature. I feel that I should not even write. Lalitā Mādhava, Haṁsa duta and the books of Rūpa Gosvāmī Prabhu are so wonderful. If I write this, people will laugh, and say, ‘This is useless, and not truthful.’
