Acaryas Quotes Gurudeva said today Kṛṣṇa is With You...

Kṛṣṇa is With You…

Devotee: When I am with you all my problems fly alway. Alone in Alachua it is not so easy.

Śrīla Gurudeva: Alone you are not. Myself is with you. Kṛṣṇa is with you. Vaiṣṇavas are…

Devotee: Can you send more? After you and Vaiṣṇavas are gone, it becomes as if void.

Śrīla Gurudeva: No harm. For thousands and thousands of births, endless, from beginning of
creation, they have been moving around this world—in only one birth they will not be perfect. It will take time. They will come again. Practice bhakti-yoga again.

Hanuman and Humility

We see that clouds sometimes appear to fight with thunderbolts. Are they tṛṇād-api-sunīcena if they fight and thunder at each other? Hanumān is tṛṇād-api-sunīcena. Because Rāvaṇa was the enemy of his Lord Rāma, he killed and destroyed all of Rāvaṇa’s followers and land. Śrīla Gurudeva said that to fight to defend one’s Prabhu is proper application of tṛṇād-api-sunīcena. Nonetheless, this should only be done with the order and desire of the master. Without their approval, the devotee should be humble and silent...

VERSE 6: It is Forbidden to View the Transcendental Vaiṣṇavas with Material Vision

Even though a devotee of Kṛṣṇa may not be born in a brāhmaṇa family or a gosvāmī line, to not refer to him as “Gosvāmī” or “Prabhu” is considered viewing him with mundane vision. Devotees born in gosvāmī lines and those born in any other caste should be treated equally. Regardless of the caste in which a devotee has taken birth, to assign material attributes to him is offensive. But if any person who has made any degree of progress along the path of bhakti considers himself a devotee and begins engaging in material misconduct, he will certainly fall...

Aksaya-trtiya and Candana-yatra

These three special abhiṣekas of Kṛṣṇa which are initiated by His most dearly beloved, Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī – karunyamrta-dhara snana, tarunyamrta-dhara snana, and lavanyamrta-dhara snana – are increasingly flowing during this time after Kṛṣṇa’s defeat of Kāliya...

WHAT IS ANURAGA PURE LOVE?

The Vrajavāsīs’ love has no selfishness. They have no desire for sense enjoyment. The Vrajavāsīs’ love is based on a pure and fathomless friend. There is no selfishness. Their love is spotlessly pure. A cow has natural love for her calf, as a mother has love for her child, but there is some spot of selfishness there. The calf is waiting for the mother’s milk. But the Vrajavāsīs’ hearts don’t have this desire. They love Kṛṣṇa, but with no desire for anything in return from Him. There is no cause for their love. This love is very valuable and powerful. In this world, people have so-called love for others, but it is only really to satisfy their own desires. Kṛṣṇa and the Vrajavāsīs’ love is pure. If one drop of that love comes to us, then we will realize how sweet it is. You will forget everything else—food, sleep, cloth, money—everything. Everything will be forgotten, and you will use everything for Kṛṣṇa’s service.

The Cause of All the Fighting in this World

All the wars and fights in this world are fought only for dana, jana, sundari, and kavita. If people understand that these things belong to Krsna and that independently stealing them results in only fighting, such a person can live happily in peace...
