On God, Love and Reincarnation

...What is God? What is the soul? You can realize this only in this human body; otherwise it is not possible. If you are an animal, a tree, a creeper, or an insect, you cannot realize this; you cannot understand all these truths. You can understand something only in this human body. You have some intelligence given by the Lord, so try to use it...

The Great Symbol of One-pointed Love

...In Vraja, the gopīs all wear some sign on their forehead, showing their devotion to Kṛṣṇa. But it is also parakīya, not apparent to everyone. They wear a bindi, or a dot or small sign made from kastūrī. This is so fragrant and attractive—Kṛṣṇa becomes mesmerized by these symbols of their love...

WHERE IS SRIMATI RADHARANI'S LILA-BHUMI?

We should vow to accept only what is favorable for the development of bhakti. We should go wherever there are sādhus; they are our good friends. There is no need for a big gathering; go to any place that is favorable. Where there is kṛṣṇa-guṇa-gāna, nāma-kīrtana, prasādam, and where bhakti’s rules and regulations are being followed—go to that favorable place. We should not go to a big gathering where there are politics. So many things are present there but there is no cultivation of devotion, bhakti-anuśīlana. Many people make a show that they are following bhakti, but this is actually only as a business. Their view, aim, and object is only business—body business, mind business, health business, and pratiṣṭhā, name and fame. They think, “I am Guru; I am Ācārya.” And they insult others. All this is unfavorable, pratikūla. If you need anything, pray to Kṛṣṇa, His associates, and to the Vraja-devīs. Pray to the holy dhāma. The followers of the Vrajavāsīs and Vraja-devīs reside here. Where is Śrīmatī Rādhārānī’s līlā-bhūmi? Where is Girirāja Govardhana? How can we meet with them? Gurau goṣṭhe goṣṭhālayiṣu sujane bhūsura-gaṇe: who is guru? He is always present in Vraja, goṣṭha. He is near the gopas and gopīs. Go and pray to them. Don’t go to anyone else. Have no other relationship. Fix your faith and relation. If you go today here and next day there, then one day it will be favorable and the next day unfavorable. If I run everywhere, then I will lose everything, because I won’t have any fixed relation. Mohini and Amrta – 28 April 2017 – Srimad Bhagavatam

They had faith in her now. But there is one problem. When a person becomes quickly faithful, they will also quickly betray you. If there is a little problem, they will turn against you and become your great enemy. Ksane rusta ksane tusta. At one minute they are your friends, and at the next, they want to kill you. Don’t have faith in them. Faith is not such an easy thing. Real faith is a very strong thing. But now the demons were saying, “You are my friend. We have faith in you. Do as you like...”

The Great Pain and Glory of Love – Gita Govinda

Written on a diamond wall with a golden pen are the words, “Victory to rati!” Rati is supreme, but how can rati come into your heart? Where can it be found? Who gives it? Can it be bought? Can it be obtained by sadhana or tapasya? Impossible. You can do tapasya and sacrifice till your heart turns as dry as a rock, but you will not get this rati, or love. Perhaps you would not like having this rati. Those whose hearts are softened by this rati must undergo great pain...
